Here at Venturu, we’re always working to make the platform more helpful. As more business owners and brokers join our community, the number of listings grows, which is fantastic. But it also raises a question: how can we make it simpler for buyers to find what they’re looking for, and for sellers to show off the great business they’ve built?
Today, we’re introducing a change that does just that. We've developed a new system that helps identify and feature listings that offer a clear and comprehensive picture for potential buyers. It’s a quiet update to how our platform works, but one we think will make a big difference for everyone.
For Buyers: A Clearer Way to See Opportunities
When you're searching for a business, you want to see the best-documented opportunities first. This update helps in two ways:
- Featured Businesses on the Homepage: You’ll now see a "Featured Businesses" section on our homepage. This isn't an ad. It’s a rotating selection of high-quality listings from across the country, giving you a quick look at some of the most complete opportunities currently available on Venturu.
- A Smarter, Cleaner Map View: Searching in a busy area could sometimes feel crowded with map pins. Now, when you search, the map automatically prioritizes the most detailed listings, showing them as full price pins. Other great businesses in the area will appear as smaller, simple dots. This cleans up the view so you can focus, but don't worry—every single business in your search area is still included in the full list right next to the map, sorted to show the most complete listings first.
For Sellers and Brokers: How to Help Your Listing Stand Out
This new system also rewards sellers and brokers who provide the kind of information that serious buyers need. While we don’t share the exact formula, our platform now gives more visibility to listings that are thorough and transparent.
If you want to improve your listing’s visibility, the best approach is to give potential buyers a full, clear picture of the opportunity. Here are the things that make a real difference:
