It can be frustrating to spend time researching a business, only to find out it’s already deep into negotiations with another buyer. We want to take that guesswork out of the equation for you.

That’s why we’re happy to introduce Listing Statuses on Venturu.

This new feature brings more clarity to every listing on our platform. It helps buyers save time, and it allows sellers and their brokers to communicate progress easily. It’s a simple change that makes the entire marketplace more efficient and trustworthy for everyone.

What Are the New Statuses?

From now on, every business listing will show one of four clear statuses. This tells you exactly where the business is in the selling process.

Here’s what you’ll see:

• For sale: The business is actively listed and available for purchase by qualified buyers. This is your green light to reach out.
• Reviewing offers: The business has received one or more compelling offers and the seller is actively reviewing them. While they are considering these, the business may still be open to other inquiries.
• Pending contract: The business has accepted an offer, but the formal contract has not been signed yet. The deal is moving forward but isn't final.
• Under Contract: A purchase agreement has been signed. The transaction is now in progress, typically moving through due diligence and toward closing.

How This Helps You

• For Buyers: You can now focus your energy more effectively. By using the new search filter, you can choose to see only businesses that are "For sale," saving you from looking into deals that are already in advanced stages. • For Sellers and Brokers: This feature helps manage expectations. It reduces the number of messages asking about a listing's availability, freeing you up to focus on serious offers. Updating the status is a simple way to keep all interested parties informed.

How to Use It

For Buyers: You will see the status clearly displayed on every listing card and page. You can also use the new "Listing Status" filter in your search to narrow down results to exactly what you’re looking for.

For Sellers and Brokers: You can update your listing’s status directly from your dashboard. It's a simple step that adds a lot of value for potential buyers.
