The new Venturu with AI-powered Insights for every listing
We built an AI assistant that works alongside every listing on the platform — explaining the opportunity to buyers in plain English so they show up already informed and ready for a real conversation. Plus: completely rebuilt search, broker profiles that build themselves, and fewer steps from browsing to inquiry than ever.

We started Venturu because we believe buying or selling a local business shouldn't require a $1,000 listing fee, an outdated search engine, or a leap of faith.
Today we're shipping the biggest update since we launched.
We built an AI assistant that works alongside every listing on the platform — explaining the opportunity to buyers in plain English so they show up to your inbox already informed, already qualified, and ready to have a real conversation. We rebuilt search from the ground up. And we redesigned every page around a single question: does this help the person looking at it make a better decision?
Here's what's new.
Every listing now comes with a built-in assistant
Buying a business is one of the biggest financial decisions a person can make. Most buyers doing it for the first time don't have a broker in their corner yet. They don't know what a revenue multiple means. They don't know to ask about the lease. They don't know which questions matter.
Until now, that meant brokers spent hours on the phone walking first-time buyers through the basics before a real conversation could even start.
Venturu AI changes that.
Every listing on Venturu now comes with AI-powered insights — a plain-English explanation of the key data points that help a buyer understand the opportunity. Think of it as the conversation a good broker would have with a buyer before the first call, happening automatically, at scale.
Here's an example of what buyers see:

Each listing gets a score on a 10-point scale. An 8.8 means "Strong opportunity." A 6.2 means "Worth exploring." The score helps buyers prioritize — and it helps your best listings stand out in a crowded market.
Why this matters for brokers: The AI takes the key data points on your listing page and explains them to buyers before they contact you. That means fewer tire-kickers, fewer basic questions, and more conversations that start with "I've read the financials and I'm serious." The buyers reaching your inbox have already been educated on your listing. The AI did the first meeting for you.
And for brokers with strong listings — complete financials, competitive pricing, fast response times — the score makes that visible. Your best work now gets recognized automatically.
Your profile now sells for you
Most brokers don't have time to build a personal brand. You're closing deals, managing clients, running a practice. Marketing yourself is the thing that keeps falling to the bottom of the list.
We fixed that.

Every broker profile on Venturu now builds itself — automatically, from what you're already doing on the platform. When you add a listing, your specialties update. When you respond to an inquiry quickly, your response time improves on your profile. When buyers leave reviews, they appear automatically. Your verification status, your active listing count, your service areas — all displayed without you touching a settings page.
The result: buyers see a complete, credible, professional profile when they find you. They see what you specialize in, how responsive you are, and how many businesses you represent. They can evaluate your track record before reaching out — and the brokers who show up consistently get more inquiries.
Think of it as your track record, working for you around the clock. You do what you're already doing. The platform turns it into your reputation.
A note for brokers who haven't checked their profile recently: now is a good time. It probably looks better than you expect.
Search, rebuilt from scratch
The old search worked. The new search is a different category.
We rebuilt the map-based search with faceted filters for everything a buyer actually needs: business type, price range, revenue range, location, whether the listing is from an owner or a broker, the type of sale (asset vs. stock), SBA pre-qualification, seller financing availability, and more.

Every filter applies the moment you select it. No "Apply" button. No page reload. Results update in real time as you narrow your criteria. The filter bar shows how many filters are active, and a single "Clear all" button resets everything in one click.
Listing cards in search results now show the AI Insights score, scannable financial data, and the broker's typical response time — so buyers can evaluate opportunities without clicking into each one.
The map got a redesign too: desaturated tiles so listing markers stand out, prices displayed cleanly on each marker, and smooth zooming between regions.
We also rebuilt saved search alerts. Save your criteria, turn on instant notifications, and get alerted the moment a new listing matches. Your saved searches page now shows live match activity — "Last match: 3 hours ago" — so you know the search is alive and working in the background.
Why this matters for brokers: Better search means more qualified buyers on your listings. A buyer who filters for "SBA pre-qualified, $200K–$500K, restaurant, asset sale" and lands on your listing has already self-selected. That's a better lead than someone casually scrolling — and it costs you nothing.
From browsing to inquiry in fewer steps than ever
We studied how buyers actually use listing pages. Where they scrolled. Where they stopped. Where they left.
The biggest finding: the gap between "I'm interested" and "I actually reached out" was too wide. Too many clicks, too many sections to parse, too much friction between intent and action.
So we closed it.

The inquiry form now stays visible in a sticky sidebar as you scroll. A buyer never has to hunt for the "contact" button — it's always right there. The form has fewer fields, a pre-filled message to remove blank-page anxiety, and a clear line showing the broker's average response time. Going from "this looks interesting" to "message sent" now takes seconds, not minutes.
We restructured how information is presented too. Financial data is scannable at a glance — revenue, profit, asking price, and the revenue multiple all in a clean grid. SBA pre-qualification and financing terms are surfaced prominently, not buried in paragraph text.
Every section of a listing is now permalinkable. A buyer can share a direct link to the financials, the location details, or the broker info with a partner, spouse, or advisor. "Hey, look at this section" now works with a URL instead of a screenshot. For a decision this big, most buyers aren't deciding alone — and now they don't have to forward a screenshot with "scroll down to the middle part."
And every listing page is now structured so that Google can index the data properly. More buyers finding your listing through organic search — not just through Venturu — means free distribution that compounds over time. For brokers and sellers, that's leads you didn't have to pay for.
A leaner, more modern platform
We redesigned every page, every component, and every interaction on Venturu.
Not to look different. To get out of your way.

Every element was evaluated against a single question: does this help the person using it, or does it slow them down? Decorative sections that added scroll depth without adding value — removed. Marketing blocks on pages where the user was trying to accomplish a task — removed. Visual clutter that made scanning harder — removed.
What's left is a platform that's leaner, faster to navigate, and built for the moment someone needs to make a decision. Numbers are formatted for precision. Status badges are clear at a glance. Pages load faster because there's less competing for your attention.
When someone's evaluating a $500,000 business acquisition, the platform shouldn't make them work harder than the decision already requires.
What we're building next
Everything we shipped today is a foundation.
The AI Insights are the first layer of something larger. We're building a platform where the technology does more of the work that currently falls on people's shoulders — the repetitive work, the time-consuming work, the work that keeps brokers from doing what they do best.
For buyers: smarter recommendations, automated due diligence checklists, and alerts that learn from your behavior — not just your saved criteria.
For brokers: AI that helps you respond to inquiries faster, prioritize the most serious buyers, and manage a larger book of business without adding headcount. We're building tools that let a broker do what used to require a team — not by replacing your judgment, but by handling the volume so your judgment goes further. Your expertise stays at the center. The AI does the legwork.
For sellers: a platform that matches you with the right broker and the right buyer — based on data, not luck.
Ten thousand business owners retire every day in the US. Most don't have a succession plan. The $10 trillion in business assets that will change hands over the next decade needs better infrastructure — better search, better tools for the brokers facilitating those transactions, and better information for the buyers making those decisions.
That's what we're building. The redesign you see today is the starting line.
Try it
If you're a broker: check your profile. Open a listing. See how the AI Insights present your opportunity to buyers. We'd love your feedback.
If you're a buyer: try a search. Use the new filters. Read the Insights on something that catches your eye.
If you're a seller: look at how your listing is presented now. Your business is being shown the way it deserves.
And if you're building in this space — or investing in it — we'd love to talk.
