Excel workbook · PDF

A starting point for the actual deal.

Use this checklist to coordinate the actual closing exchange after agreeing the purchase documents. Assign responsibility for each condition, consent, payment and deliverable, and retain evidence of completion. The list supports coordination; it does not replace the definitive agreement or the work of the people handling settlement and legal transfers.

Generic English edition. Governing law and transaction details require your review.

How to use this template

  1. Align the checklist with the signed purchase agreement and closing arrangements.
  2. Assign an owner, deadline and dependencies to each deliverable.
  3. Review outstanding issues and any lawful waivers with advisers.
  4. Record completion only after confirming the actual funds and document exchange.

Common questions

Does a signed agreement mean the transaction is closed?

Not necessarily. The agreed conditions and exchange of funds, documents and transfers still need to occur. Keep signing and actual completion distinct.

Does completing the checklist mark a Venturu pursuit won?

No. Recording the acquisition is a separate explicit action with its own requirements. A template or checked box does not establish that ownership transferred.
