A starting point for the actual deal.
Use the CIM outline to explain a business to authorized prospective buyers. It supplies writing prompts for the business, customers, operations, team, financials and transaction. Populate it with supported facts, identify the source and period of financial figures, and review confidentiality before sharing. A polished narrative does not verify the underlying information.
Generic English edition. Governing law and transaction details require your review.
How to use this template
- Collect the source financials and business records before drafting claims.
- Complete the outline with dated facts and clearly identified seller statements.
- Review accuracy, material omissions, personal information and disclosure authority.
- Share only through the appropriate confidentiality and access process.
Common questions
Is a CIM the same as a business valuation?
No. A CIM presents the business and proposed opportunity. A valuation assesses value using its stated evidence, methods and assumptions. They can share sources without being the same document.
Will Venturu invent missing financials?
No. Missing evidence must stay visible. Native CIM editing and generation use the available business and valuation context; narrative text does not replace source records.
